What does an APL audit involve?

Highly trained financial auditors undertake a skilled examination of financial, operational and other background records. The extent of the audit is decided by you, however we will advise, according to nature of the environment in which your organisation operates, exactly which audits will suit your needs. Our auditors use a combination of skilled auditing, analytical tests and specialist software to identify:

  • wrongly classified/underclaimed/un-claimed VAT  
  • pricing overcharges
  • charge miscalculations
  • omitted discounts
  • rebates

The process includes data mining, collecting and analysing electronic and paper records, using a combination of skilled auditing and specialist software. APL then work closely with suppliers to recover the lost revenue on your behalf.
