Associated British Ports, the UK's leading ports group, has appointed Leeds based profit recovery specialist, Audit Partnership, to undertake a review of its accounts payable operations.
ABP owns and operates 21 ports all around the UK and handles approximately a quarter of the country's seaborne trade.
An ABP source commented “ due to the complexities of our business relations not only in the UK but overseas, we felt that APL we’re the right people to work with us and our suppliers”
James Cook, MD of Audit Partnership commented “working with ABP will be a challenging yet rewarding time, as we recognise the complex nature associated with international trade and the differing tax computations”.
The agreement will see the two companies working together over a period of three years.
