Profit recovery specialist, APL has announced another joint venture, this time with Cambridgeshire based accountants, Peters Elsworthy & Moore (PEM). The venture will see APL provide VAT specialist auditing services for some of the key clients of PEM.

One of the key aspects offered by APL during the course of its normal accounts payable audit sees the team recover many errors in relation to VAT. Development Director at APL, David Thurman, said “The joint venture with PEM now means that APL can substantially widen the scope of its service in relation to VAT and begin to recover not just input VAT on normal purchases but input VAT lost or output VAT overpaid through errors of principle in clients dealings.”
